Critical Workshop
This course of six three-hour sessions is a series of MA-style workshops. Writers will have the opportunity to receive in-depth critical feedback on their work, and will also be helped to develop their critical skills in analysing others' work. Participants' writing is circulated in advance of each session, enabling extended discussion. Each class will end with exercises designed to address issues which have arisen during the session. The last session will focus on how to present your work to agents and editors.
The Critical Workshop takes place in the attractive surroundings of the New Cavendish Club, 44 Great Cumberland Place, London W1, near Marble Arch tube. The six three-hour series of MA-style workshops will be facilitated by Natalie Butlin, and Maggie Hamand will co-teach the first and last sessions and give an overwiew of the publishing industry.
