Intermediate Course
This course is designed for those who have attended a beginners' creative writing course or started writing fiction but do not yet feel ready to progress to the advanced course. We will help to motivate you to write, improve technical skills and support your development as a writer.
The sessions will focus on developing character, building a narrative, improving dialogue and descriptive writing, and handling point of view and time in fiction. Participants will be set exercises in class as well as homework each week and will receive constructive feedback.
The Saturday course takes place in the attractive surroundings of the Groucho Club, London's well-known literary venue, at 45 Dean Street, Soho. The Monday course takes place at the New Cavendish Club, 44 Great Cumberland Place, London W1, near Marble Arch tube. All courses consist of six weekly three-hour sessions.
